Join Authentic Relating Ottawa’s Founder Pamela French for an outdoor Death Café by ARO—an open, uplifting space to talk about the one topic society often avoids. Expect delicious treats, warm tea, and authentic group dialogue on life, loss, and what matters most. Come curious, share at your own comfort level, and stay for the full 3-hour experience.

The Last Tea Party by ARO – Saturday October 24th

Pull up a chair at The Last Tea Party—a kind, curious and open space to share your story of loss and grief in all its forms. Be met by an attentive Authentic Relating Ottawa listener offering undivided, curious attention through gentle exploration questions. Not therapy—just pure human relational medicine. Sip tea, speak your truth, and explore how grief lives in you.

The Last Tea Party is a community space dedicated to giving voice to the losses we carry—from loved ones and relationships to identity, aging, and world shifts.

The Experience: Pair with an ARO listener for a 1-on-1, non-judgmental space focused entirely on your story.
The Approach: Pure relational presence and exploratory “building questions.” Zero pressure to fix or reciprocate.
Note: This is human relational medicine, not clinical counseling or group therapy.

This event will be held outdoors at 60 Byward Market Square and is weather dependent and on a first come first served drop in basis from 1-4pm on Saturday October 24, 2026. Donations gratefully accepted but not required.
